On Monday 10th May at 3.43pm I was listening to a program on Radio 4 called 'Satire: The Great British Tradition' when a person interviewed on the pre-recorded program said 'bullshit'. This program is available online http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00s7vs4 and the swearing happens at 56mins of the 58mins program.
I am not a prude but I do not appreciate hearing swearing on the radio, especially at 3.45pm. I called the BBC to complain but they said there is no watershed for radio so they can say what they like.
You do not hear swearing on commercial radio so why can the BBC get away with it and on a pre-recorded program. I do not want to pay my TV licence if this is going to be the standard of broadcasting I get.
